Microsoft on May 4th, 2019 released a new update KB4500331 to patch the Bluekeep vulnerability on Windows XP/Server 2003 and it’s been the first Official patch for these Operating Systems since the 2017 SMB patch to stop WannaCry. According to the description, the patch patches a critical hole in the OSes Remote Desktop that could allow Remote Code Execution and is marked as Critical.
